Rejection

"Don't be offended by rejection. Instead, let it strengthen your belief that God has better things in store for your dream" ~ John Di Lemme

Rejection can be an enormously positive experience as well as a very damaging one, if you let it. You also have to remember that just one person or one organization's opinion of you doesn't dictate the entirety of who you are.

Just because he rejected you for some reason or the other doesn't mean that everyone else will reject you! A lot of people after breakups or like I said, any other form of rejection start to think this. You weren't the one for him? Oh well! It doesn't mean that the next guy won't adore you! Like there are countless different flavors of tea in the world. One person may despise chamomile while the next may just love it to death! Like tea, there are countless types of beautiful girls in the world. Maybe you just weren't his cup of tea, his type of beautiful. But for goodness sake, it doesn't mean that you're not beautiful! Besides, beauty/looks doesn't always have anything to do with it. There are some guys out there who may think you're one of the loveliest girls they've ever seen or even the nicest for that matter and yet, there's just no chemistry between the two of you. As a matter of fact, I myself can attest to that! I've met guys who were movie star material for sure, and yet... we didn't seem to click. Love is a supernatural thing. It can spark up between the most unexpected people. It's always a surprise just who cupid choses to bring together. There's no rule or rhyme to love. You don't have to look or be a certain way to find it. It just happens!

Another comforting thing to remember in the wake of a breakup is that breakups happen to everyone! You're not the first lovely girl/ handsome young man to be rejected and that in time, you'll find that girl/guy who happens to think that you are "some dish". <3
